Vision In Action Business Consortium (VIABC) is a Sapient Circle of concerned business leaders who come together to share in a compelling dialogue to transform the world through the coherent development of the business community.

B. What is the Purpose of VIABC?

The following descriptions cover but do not exhaust the stated purposes of VIABC:

• To discover and develop ways to infuse business culture with integrity and responsibility
• To discover and develop ways to transform the concerns of business from sustainability to significance
• To discover and develop ways to transfer the prosperity of business to the world at large for its enrichment

C. What are the characteristic features of VIABC?

• A forum for deep and compelling dialogue
• A mastermind group to mobilize team wisdom that will emerge out of dialogue
• A place to provide business leaders with inspiration to think and act in a way that will bring about coherent development in the business community and to facilitate change/transformation in the world
• A place to examine, think about, and act upon what we care about
• A place for open and open-ended discussion that leads to making a difference and producing results through action
• A place for participating colleagues to discuss and generate discoveries that can be applied to the purpose of producing change in the business community and the world
• A place to discuss ethical issues
• VIABC dialogue will include such specific issues as “How can the media reflect the dignity of humans?” and “What types of organizations or activities are needed in Orange County?”
