THE VISION WORKSHOP

Below are a few samples of the programs and seminars offered through the Vision In Action Leadership Institute that are intended to cultivate long-term business growth and innovation by developing leaders capable of original and creative thinking. These programs can be offered onsite at a corporate facility as an intensive leadership training program for an organization of any size. When presented as a corporate program, workshops are tailored to the specific needs and strategic goals of the client organization.
1. THE META-CONSULTING LEADERSHIP SEMINAR
Business is driven by creative thinking that results in constructive action. Creative thinking is a discipline that produces innovative, organized action and leads to increased prosperity for everyone who has a stake in the outcome.
The Meta-Consulting Leadership Seminar is an intensive, six-month executive program that helps qualified entrepreneurs and business professionals develop the art and science of visionary and strategic thinking. Participants learn to identify and articulate their vision and mission, expanding their capability to think creatively. The focus is on developing the specific strategies needed to achieve objectives before taking action.
Each of the dialogue-style meetings is built around a distinctive body of knowledge that integrates advanced scientific thinking with elements of prominent Eastern and Western philosophies. Participants learn insightful approaches to effectively deal with the pressing issues of leadership, strategy, ethics and management in today’s rapidly changing business environment. The program includes in-depth monthly educational training sessions organized around an infrastructure of mutual support and empowerment with other participants. Personal coaching during the six-month program also is available.
The participants in The Meta-Consulting Leadership Seminar will walk away with an advanced yet practical understanding of leadership and strategy that is not available anywhere else. 2. DEVELOPING YOUR ORGANIZATION VIA ETHICS
The American poet Edwin Markham said: In vain do we build the city if we do not first build the man. The same can be said about the organization: In vain do we build the organization if we do not first build the people.
The Greek philosopher Heraclitus said: Man’s character is his destiny. The same can be said about the organization: The character of the organization is its destiny. The character of the organization is the organic totality of the people who constitute the organization.
Ethics consists of a specific set of acknowledged and accepted principles; the sustained practice of these principles builds the character of the individual and of the organization. Ethics determines the destiny of the organization.
